Summons dead souls and crawling creatures to its aid.

Also attacks using poison, curses, and explosions.
Playstyle
The Witch Doctor is a ranged magic user whose primary damage comes from it's minions and curses/debuffs.

Their skills are divided into 4 types: Physical Realm, Spirit Realm, Command, and Passive.
  • Physical realm skills cost mana and perform physical damage or poison.
  • Spiritual realm skills cost mana and provide magic damage or negative effects to their enemies.
  • Command skills cost mana and create minions for Witch Doctor to control.
  • Passive skills are activated automatically, or through specific events - usually costing no Mana.
Armor Progression
Cloth
The most basic armor, provides very little protection.
Leather
A step up from cloth armor, but still not much protection.
Mail
Provides considerably more protection than leather armor.
Special Abilities
Pets

Able to summon a variety of pets to their aid including mongres, zombies, bats, fetishes, and spiders.
Destructive Magic

Able to cast a variety of AoE magic including clouds of acid, flames, and locusts.
Curses & Hexes

Able to cast a variety of curses that slow enemies, steal life, and cause damage.
Battlefield Control

Able to slow, stop, and make enemies flee with a variety of abilities.
Resource
Mana


Vast, but slowly regenerating resource.

Able to cause massive amounts of damage in a short period, but one must be careful to not expend all mana and be left defenseless.
